St Joan of Arc online registration for PLAYERS and COACHES for the 2021-22‚ Basketball Season will open as follows:
May 1, 2021: Coaches Registration begins. If you sign up as a Head Coach‚ your player will receive registration priority IF you are approved as a Head Coach.
Player registration opens on August 9, 2021. Any eligible 7th or 8th grade boy or girl may register on or after that date. However, there are some limitations on who can be accepted. Please read the following carefully and make sure you understand the process.
Returning players (who played at St. Joan in the 2019-20 season) grades 7-8 will be given priority and allowed to pay and be enrolled through August 16, 2021. After August 16, returning players will still be allowed to register, but will have the same status as new players.
New players will be placed on wait lists pending confirmation of their eligibility.
ST JOAN IS NOT OFFERING DIVISIONS IN GRADES 3, 4, 5 AND 6 FOR THE 2021-22 SEASON.
Each grade/sex will be subject to caps based on the number of head coaches available. So not even returning players are guaranteed slots if there aren't enough coaches. However, if we add more coaches we will also add player slots.
Players will be advanced from wait lists based on the dates of their initial registration. If a wait listed player gets a notice of acceptance, he or she must pay and thereby complete registration within four (4) days of the date of the notice. If payment is not received, he or she will be dropped to the bottom of the wait list.
All players who are accepted and complete the registration process will be placed on teams as determined in tryouts to be conducted in September.
As you proceed through the registration process, you will notice that there are now coronavirus protocols in place and that parents and guardians are expected to comply with those protocols and sign a related waiver. The major item is that everyone entering a gym must be masked at all times. Also be aware that because the pandemic is a fluid situation, there may be new or different protocols adopted as we go along. We won't be able to make exceptions to the protocols, or give refunds if the season parameters are changed or reduced.
